Resides in Williamsburg, VA during the offseason...Played his college baseball at Longwood University from 2009-11...as a junior in 2011, went 1-0 with 10 saves, a 0.89 ERA (30.1IP/3ER) and 48 strikeouts in 22 games...established school single-season records in ERA, saves and hits allowed per nine innings (3.56), as well as the school career saves record.

Spent the entire 2017 season with Triple A Memphis, appearing in a career-high 46 games...Led all Pacific Coast League relievers with a .193 (46x238) opponents batting average and 9.18 baserunners allowed per nine innings, while he ranked tied for second with 11 holds, third with 1.89 walks per nine innings and fiifth with 9.86 strikeouts per nine innings...Threw 2.0-or-more innings in 17-of-46 appearances...Placed on the temporarily inactive list from July 10-13...Made 19 appearances in June/July and had a 2-1 record with four saves, a 1.69 ERA (26.2IP/5ER) and 30 strikeouts...Limited righthanded hitters to a .134 (19x142) batting average, while lefties hit .281 (27x96) against him.

Combined at Double-A Trenton and Single-A Tampa to go 7-2 with 15 saves and a 1.54 ERA (64.1IP, 11ER) in 46 relief appearances… led all Yankees minor league relievers in saves and was named the organization's "Pitcher of the Year"… started the season with Tampa and was 4-1 with 14 saves and a 1.34 ERA (40.1IP, 6ER) in 31G out of the bullpen… was promoted on 7/19 to Trenton, where he went 3-1 with 1 save and a 1.88 ERA (24.0IP, 5ER, 38K)… made five postseason relief appearances with the Thunder and did not record a decision in 6.0 scoreless innings (2H, 3BB, 11K)… tied for the most games played among all EL postseason hurlers and tied for the second-most strikeouts… following the season, made 9 relief appearances with the Scottsdale Scorpions of the Arizona Fall League and recorded 19K in 10.1IP (2.61 ERA, 5H, 3ER, 5BB).
