Tigers activate Iglesias from disabled list

The injury-riddled Tigers gained a valuable player back from the disabled list on Thursday. Shortstop Jose Iglesias passed Major League Baseball's concussion protocol and was activated from the seven-day concussion DL.

Tigers place Ryan on paternity leave list

The first bullpen move of the Tigers' season came quickly, but it was planned. Left-hander Kyle Ryan was headed to the paternity leave list following Tuesday's rescheduled season opener against the White Sox, with Blaine Hardy recalled from Triple-A Toledo to take his place.
