D-backs, Tigers garner no help from pair of reviews

PHOENIX -- The Tigers and D-backs each came up on the wrong end of reviews in the seventh inning of Detroit's 4-3 victory at Chase Field on Monday.

In the top half of the frame, Tigers third baseman Miguel Cabrera hit a hard line drive that hit off the railing in front of the center-field concourse with Austin Jackson on third. Jackson scored easily, but Cabrera was thrown out at second base.

Crew chief Fieldin Culbreth initiated a challenge to see if Cabrera's hit was above the yellow home-run line, but after review, the call was confirmed.

In the bottom of the inning, Tigers catcher Bryan Holaday picked off pinch-hitter Ender Inciarte at first base after he singled. D-backs manager Kirk Gibson challenged the call, but the ruling was confirmed following a short review.
