Tigers to celebrate 30th anniversary of the 1984 World Series champs on June 30

Get your tickets now to celebrate the 30th Anniversary World Series Championship of the team that united a city, and had everyone saying "Bless You Boys" prior to the Tigers 7:08 p.m. game against the Oakland Athletics on Monday, June 30. Tickets are available at the Comerica Park Box office, by calling 866-66-TIGER and online at tigers.com/tickets.

The special day will feature a Q&A roundtable at the Big Cat Court from 5:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. featuring some of your favorite players from the 1984 team. Fans will have the opportunity to interact with the players and ask them questions about that memorable season. Prior to the start of the game, the 1984 team will be honored on the field in a special pre-game on-field ceremony featuring highlight videos from the '84 season and testimonials from some of the players. Plus the first 20,000 fans through the gates will receive a 1984 Replica Road Jersey, courtesy of Comerica Bank.

Fans are encouraged to arrive at the ballpark early for this special event, and be in their seats no later than 6:30 p.m. so that they won't miss a minute of the action.
