Tigers Invite 16 Players to Major League Camp

DETROIT - The Detroit Tigers today announced the following 16 players have been invited to major league camp this spring in Lakeland, FL:

Righthanded pitchers: Jhan Marinez, Luis Marte, Eduardo Sanchez, Drew VerHagen

Lefthanded pitchers: Duane Below, Blaine Hardy, Robbie Ray

Catchers: Craig Albernaz, Luis Exposito, James McCann, John Murrian
 
Infielders: Devon Travis, Danny Worth

Outfielders: Ezequiel Carrera, Tyler Collins, Trevor Crowe

Additionally, the following staff members will be in uniform at major league camp this spring: Kevin Bradshaw, Bill Dancy, Joe DePastino, Leon "Bull" Durham, Bruce Fields, Jaime Garcia, Al Nipper, Dave Owen, Larry Parrish, Gerald Perry, Brian Peterson, Gene Roof and A.J. Sager. Additionally, both Willie Horton and Al Kaline will be in uniform this spring. Corey Tremble, Chris McDonald and T.J. Saunders will assist the major league training staff this spring, while Steve Chase, Kyle Bergman and Fred Murphy will work with the Tigers strength and conditioning coordinators Javair Gillett and Chris Walter.

The first pitchers and catchers workout in Lakeland will be on February 14, while the first full squad workout will be on February 18.
