Second annual Classic Car Show starts at noon tomorrow at Comerica Park
Tomorrow the Tigers will combine two of Detroit's favorite pastimes, baseball and cars, in the 2nd Annual Classic Car Show, presented by MotorCity Casino Hotel and Total Lubricants, and in partnership with the Woodward Dream Cruise. The show will take place in Lot 1, Columbia Plaza and along Witherell Street from 12:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. and will feature more than 90 classic cars.
The cars selected to be displayed in the Classic Car Show were chosen from an online nomination process conducted through tigers.com. 90 cars will compete in front of a panel of celebrity judges which includes Gregg Solomon, CEO of MotorCity Casino Hotel, Jean Jennings, President and Editor-in-Chief of Automobile Magazine, Joe DeMatio, Deputy Editor of Automobile Magazine, Jim McCarter, Executive Director of Concours d'Elegance at St John's, Roger Hart, Executive Editor of AutoWeek, Neal Rubin, writer for The Detroit News and Mike Shannon, on-air talent for WOMC.
In addition to the cars competing in the show, two classic cars from the GM Heritage Center and three classic cars from MotorCity Casino Hotel will be on display.
