Tigers' Inge uninjured in six-vehicle accident
DALLAS -- Tigers third baseman Brandon Inge was involved, but not injured, in a six-vehicle accident Tuesday morning near Ann Arbor, Mich., according to a local television report.

Annarbor.com reported that Inge was driving south through Freedom Township around 7:30 a.m. ET Tuesday, when his truck slid through a four-way stop and hit multiple vehicles. At least five vehicles besides Inge's were involved, according to the station, citing the police report.

Weather was reportedly a contributing factor, as the arrival of winter weather made for snowy roads and, in some cases, icy patches.

The Detroit Free Press reported that no one was injured and no citations were issued.

Inge, a member of the Tigers since 2001, lives year-round in Saline, Mich., south of Ann Arbor. He moved back to Michigan full time a few years ago after briefly making his offseason home in South Carolina.
