Played 5 Major League seasons for the Mets (1981-85), hitting .232 with 4 home runs and 49 RBI in 285 games...Traded to the Twins in November 1986 and played for their Triple-A affiliate for 1 season...Made his Major League debut on Sept. 1, 1981 and collected his first career hit (single) off Hall of Famer Bruce Sutter on Sept. 11, 1981 @ St. Louis...Hit his first Major League homer on June 29, 1982 @ Montreal (off Ray Burris)...Homered to win championship game of the 1983 Triple-A World Series over Portland. Named to the 1979 Carolina League All-Star Team...Selected by the Mets in the sixth round of the 1979 draft.
